Effective Date: July 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ReelMio ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, stores, and otherwise processes personal information when you access or use ReelMio, including our websites, applications, software, AI creation tools, models, templates, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
For purposes of applicable data protection law, ReelMio, located in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region ("HKSAR"), is the controller of personal information processed under this Privacy Policy unless otherwise stated.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with it, do not use the Services.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we process about visitors, registered users, creators, subscribers, and individuals who interact with us or whose information is submitted to the Services.
If you use the Services on behalf of a business or other organization, that organization may separately control personal information submitted through its account. Where we process personal information solely on that customer's documented instructions, the applicable customer agreement or data processing agreement will govern that processing. Please contact the relevant organization regarding its privacy practices.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, applications, platforms, or services that have their own privacy policies.
2. Personal Information We Collect
The personal information we collect depends on how you interact with the Services and which features you use.
Information You Provide
- Account and profile information. Your name, username, email address, phone number, password or authentication credentials, profile image, company information, role, language, and account preferences.
- User Content and AI inputs. Prompts, scripts, storylines, dialogue, text, instructions, images, photographs, video, audio, voice recordings, likenesses, character materials, logos, trademarks, files, and other content you upload, import, create, record, or submit, together with associated metadata.

- Face, body, and voice information. If you use avatar, face, lip-sync, animation, voice, dubbing, or similar features, we may process images, video, audio, and technical representations of facial, body, or voice characteristics to perform the feature you request. Unless separately disclosed, we do not use this information to determine your identity.
- Payment and transaction information. Subscription plan, credits purchased or used, transaction amount, currency, billing details, invoices, payment status, and transaction history. Payment card details are generally collected and processed directly by our payment providers rather than stored by us.
- Communications and support information. Information you provide when contacting support, submitting feedback, participating in surveys, reporting content, exercising privacy rights, or otherwise communicating with us.
- Verification and consent information. Information reasonably necessary to verify identity, age, authority, ownership, or consent, including evidence that you are authorized to use a person's face, voice, likeness, or other protected material.
Please do not submit sensitive personal information that is not necessary to use a feature. You are responsible for ensuring that you have a lawful basis to submit personal information about another person.

- Performance, diagnostics, and security information, such as crash reports, error logs, latency, system events, suspected abuse, authentication events, and information used to detect fraud or security incidents.
- Cookie and similar technology information, as described in Section 9.

4. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process personal information based on one or more of the following:
- Performance of a contract, where processing is necessary to provide the Services you request or administer our agreement with you.
- Legitimate interests, such as operating, securing, improving, and understanding the Services; preventing fraud and abuse; supporting users; and protecting our legal rights, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Consent, where you have given consent for a specific purpose. You may withdraw consent at any time, but withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.
- Legal obligations, where processing is necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, court order, or lawful governmental request.
- Vital interests and public interest, where processing is necessary to protect a person's life or safety or perform a task recognized by law.
The legal basis may vary according to the information, purpose, feature, and jurisdiction.
5. AI Processing and Model Improvement
We process User Content to provide the AI features you request. This may involve automated analysis of prompts, scripts, images, video, audio, facial or body features, voice characteristics, and associated metadata. Depending on the feature, User Content may be sent to third-party model, cloud, moderation, transcription, voice, image, or video service providers acting on our behalf.
We may use User Content and interaction data to evaluate output quality, detect abuse, troubleshoot failures, improve workflows, and maintain the safety and reliability of the Services. Authorized personnel may review limited content where reasonably necessary for support, safety, security, legal compliance, or quality evaluation, subject to access controls and confidentiality obligations.
We will not use private User Content to train generalized generative AI models unless you affirmatively opt in or we separately disclose the intended use and obtain any consent required by law. You may withdraw an opt-in for future training by contacting [email protected]. Withdrawal will not require us to retrain or delete models already trained where the contribution cannot reasonably be isolated, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
We may use aggregated or de-identified information that is not reasonably capable of identifying you or reproducing your User Content to analyze and improve the Services. We do not use User Content to build advertising profiles or serve targeted advertising based on the content of your private projects.
6. How We Disclose Personal Information

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration, use personal information for targeted advertising, or otherwise sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under applicable privacy laws.
Service providers are authorized to process personal information only as necessary to provide contracted services to us or as otherwise permitted by law.
7. Public Content and Collaborative Features
If you choose to publish or share User Content, templates, projects, comments, profile information, or outputs through public or collaborative features, that information may be visible to other users or the public. Others may copy, save, redistribute, or use publicly available information outside our control.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. They may directly collect payment card, bank, billing, device, and fraud-prevention information under their own privacy policies. We generally receive transaction identifiers, payment status, plan, amount, currency, and limited billing information, but not full payment card numbers.

Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy decisions, approved contractual clauses, consent, or another lawful transfer mechanism. You may contact us for more information about safeguards relevant to your personal information.
12. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Measures may include encryption in transit, access controls, authentication, logging, employee confidentiality obligations, vendor assessments, and security monitoring.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and should notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

These rights are not absolute. We may deny or limit a request where permitted by law, including where necessary to protect another person's rights, preserve security, comply with law, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
14. Children's Privacy
The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to persons under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
You must not upload content containing a child's personal information, face, voice, or likeness unless you have all authority and consent required by law and the use is permitted by our Terms of Service and safety policies.
15. Third-Party Services
The Services may contain links to or integrations with third-party services. Those third parties may collect and process personal information under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control and are not responsible for their independent privacy practices. Review the relevant third-party policy before connecting an account or sharing information.
